Nice.
Pole vault seems a good sport for good sorts.

There was of course South Australia's 'own' Tatiana, and the girl who beat her for gold Stacey Dragila wasn't too bad either from my recollection.

Slightly off topic - but the title in that little piece is the name of a Lemonheads song.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Yeah pole vaulting seems to be the sport to watch ... Swimming has some fine specimens too but is generally brought down by the odd person here and there (*cough* Petria Thomas *cough*)

Strewth, it's hard to tell if she's actually a pole vaulter or a model just playing the part for a shoot.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Physical fitness does wonders for the physique. When I met her the lady who is now my wife was training 15 hours a week with the Adelaide Dance Theatre. [As well as holding down a public service job and putting herself through Uni.]

No, met her once later - I don't think we would be friends. Arriette Taylor was around at the time, among others. I didn't dance but Arriete dragged me up as a [rehearsal] stage prop once. All I had to do was provide the balancing arm.
