1 My work has blocked the site so can't access during day - started yesterday
2 Then I get home and the site was down

I was a bit lost .... ended up an Ebay and bid on 3 things I really don't need desparately

What has my life come too ...?

Worse comes to worse dogger it'll always be back, hopefully the next 24 hours goes ok, if it doesnt we'll move our webspace provider (more hassle, more money).
Worst case scenario:
SAFooty exists with forums such as the SANFL, Regional Board, and maybe 1 or 2 others available to all with a userpay system to view the rest (something like $10 or $20 pa) on a dedicated server.
Other options:
- move Regional Boards to their own webspace as they're incredibly popular now.
- try different software
- limit amount of new users allowed (perhaps by invite of regulars only)

As I have said in the moderators forum,my work was effected yesterday by the sit being down.I had to do more !

I'd die if work took away my access.. i actually thought for a while yesterday that they had, as they did a system overhaul the night before.. thats when i start looking for another job
