This week I was in Canberra and last week Hobart and Launceston. Adelaide has been clear and cold but believe me, the brass monkeys seem to be all living in the ACT and TAS from my recent experiences.

My job is always out of the warm into the cold.

And visa versa....

I eat plenty of raw Garlic.

I have never had any ills..!

It lets me know, who loves me.

Nothing else matters...!

6.30 this morning on the pushbike to work was clearly the coldest morning of the year. It took a 20 minute hot shower and 3 cups of tea to defrost the fingers. Thumbs are still a little achy now. Knees and ankles are also reminding me that I used to play footy as well.

First time I have ridden to work with a beanie under the helmet. Feels warm outside now, must have snuck up to 5 degrees or something.

I've had the (mis)fortune of spending the last 2 nights camping in the hills just out of Stirling. There were sheets of ice on the tents. I had thermies on and don't recall ever being colder. Brrrrr

I've had a balaklava under my motorbike helmet the last 2 days. I knew it was cold when I could see steam coming from the drains.

It snowed in the backyard last September in the Dandenong Ranges, and it did just a bit on Christmas Day.
