the slowdown

i know it is too late to organise now, but why wouldn't they have the slowdown this week (no afl) & the sanfl change one game so everyones happy rather than have slowdown games going against sanfl finals which has happened in the past, that is why i'll never go to a slowdown these blokes got their start in the sanfl & just turn their back on it when they're on a great wicket
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Slowdown will be at footy park this year as the league wants to play more finals at Adelaide Oval

It's a good cause so I can forgive the guys doing their bit to help. I don't reckon it impacts SANFL finals as much as we might think. It's a completely different crowd that go to a slowdown. If they were doing it for money for themselves I would feel differently about it. Playing it in spring when the weather is fine would be their best opportunity to raise $$$ for the kids so it's OK for mine.

The way it's looking with Norwood and Sturt possibly back in the action I think the SANFL finals will be well supported this year.
