Strongbow's made in Singapore now mate, smaller bottles and different taste.
I haven't encountered one person that is happy about it yet.

I'm coming back to this after a weekend on it
Have you heard anyone else say the taste is inconsistent?
Maybe one of the cartons went rooi on the way in but I've encountered 3 different tastes over the weekend.
On Saturday, one of them was a fizz with a bit of taste and the next was very apple

Miss Jimmy has dumped them.

Problem is finding a low sweet cider. I love Orchard Crush but you need insulin with it

The biggest downfall to being a single parent or single in general is having to mop the floors.

Spent most of yesterday and half of Friday doing an autumn clean and it's by far the worst chore on the list.

Lazy staff members who want money but don’t want to work

Have one currently the last 4 shifts that has “thrown up in the bathroom “ yet can eat chocolate rabbit like Cookie Monster and drink two cans of Coke.

“Not sure if I can go on”

PREACH IT!!

There's a guy who is on a 6 month contract with us working FIFO 2-2 roster.. he has literally the easiest job in the field ever, he sits in an office or he sits in an air con car supervising.. paid handsomely..

First swing he worked 1 day, complained of "heat stress" next two, flew home 4th day then was all over social media partying and drinking with mates.
Two weeks off
Returned last Wednesday for 2nd swing - did nothing Wednesday as was a travel day - worked 2 days, 3rd day complained of a sore throat, ended up getting covid test and isolating in his room. Test came back negative, medic rang him to see if he got results and had "coughing fit" over the phone.

Guess whose going home again today.

6 weeks employed, worked total of 3 days - paid ~$11k

Word gets around pretty quickly in FIFO world - soon he'll stop getting offers.

Had a 25 year old lad plead with me to get him a job, he even got his mum to plead with me even though she knew I was never getting anyone else a job until after I get my son in (he is almost 17 and I've been burnt in the past).

Anywho, the lad has recently become a father and has been down on his luck a bit so I weakened, I pulled some strings and got him in, he sent me a message after his shift telling me how much he enjoyed it and how well the people treated him..................................then didn't turn up to the next shift or let anyone know.

He told his mum to tell me that he had to do a PCR test but facebook suggested he was fine, as the weekend grew older he then told her to tell me that he misses having dinner with his girlfriend and 3 month baby, WTF are we producing nowadays, it's rotating shifts with the potential to earn up to $150K PA.

Was there any harm in actually messaging me directly with an explanation?
