We've got our Dalmatian trained to know when he's dirty from playing or digging outside when it's wet and muddy. He'll come through the dog flap, and wait in the laundry for us to clean his paws before he comes in. If he's been outside and not gone in the wet or mud, he knows and comes running straight in.

So, I still don't have an oven. All other stock had the same 15 amp plug. Will be getting a call tomorrow when Good Guys contact the relevant Rep.

I reckon every oven I have ever bought had a 15A plug, I thought according to electrical regulations ovens got their own dedicated circuit too. Any sparky could tell you for sure.

Another car crash/death blamed on the Victor Harbor Road, when in fact it’s been revealed it was due to driver distraction.
There is nothing wrong with this road IMO if you drive sensibly.

Patience is a virtue, it isn't a dangerous road if you just make sure you get to where you're going instead of trying to knock 8 minutes off of the journey.

Whilst there are several spots that are uncomfortable to negotiate with on coming traffic you're right, there's times you just need to slow down and be as attentive as possible and that stretch from the top of the hill to Mt Compass is just that. Slow down and switch on.

I drive it regularly for work, you are right the bit between the Goolwa turn off until you come down the hill about 5kms from Victor you need to be fully switched on, Im not sure exactly why but it does feel more dangerous than other roads in the area (i.e. sometimes if I have more time I will come home via Myponga and that road feels very safe). They could/should immediately drop the speed limit in that section to 80 for a start.

Ordered a Garmin watch from Rebel Sport online coz none of the stores had the one I wanted in stock.

Expected due date: Friday, 24th April.. nothing.. check website and Aus Post - expect delays.. no problems.

Thursday 30th April - update saying it's on it's way! Beauty a week late but I can appreciate how busy they are.. new expected due date - between 1st May and 6th May.

7th May.. nothing.. check track and trace, showing it's still sitting in the same location as it was on the 30th. :(

Aus Post note "Just so you know, over 90% of late items arrive within 3 business days of their expected delivery date." Mother trucker it was due two weeks ago, now i'm potentially waiting until Monday.

Filthy.

Similar experience with a package too. Was over a week overdue. Sent an email enquiring the status. Lo and behold within an hour of sending it a message arrives that it's on board for delivery.....must have been sitting in one of their temporary facilities and nothing was done about it until I complained.

About 3 weeks behind still. Was 4-5 weeks of backlog a couple of weeks ago but they have made some changes which have made inroads into it but still a way to go. Maybe a month or so until it evens out
