I beg to differ. Most 'rock' music these days is limp wristed, soft as butter, and more akin to indie music than what I would call rock music. The rock music I know had some balls to it, a meaty edge that distinguished it from the disposable pop fodder radio stations seem to endlessly flog. Hence why I haven't listened to the radio for a decade, apart from when I'm forced to at work.

The last Rock recording I bought was probably Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick", although I did around the same time have some interest in an obscure group called "Paladin".

I'm more interested in classical music, jazz, and Indian music - both Indian Indian and South American Indian.
