Feels like car parks have decreased in size over the years. Probably to fit more shoppers in...

I think it’s that cars have got bigger. More women drive 4WD and SUV’s

I think you're on the money for some places, the Paralowie Village shops have the smallest spaces, I have to go there from time to time and if one idiot is off centre then it ruins it for everyone.

It's part of the surfacing works. Every road when laid has the same issue. Not sure of the scientific reason but they are slippery when first laid and take time to settle and grip. My missus is working on that project.

Have only been back truck driving for 5 weeks since the shoulder surgery & now driving rigids instead of semis. Said to the wife 2 weeks ago "people don't seem to cut me off as much in a rigid as they used to when I was in the semi".

Well, last week & this week (since school has restarted) I've noticed the driving habits are back to sh!t. Getting cut off everywhere, people speeding up from behind me just to cut in front of me at a merge lane (in the semi there would be drivers at the back wheels of the trailer who would do that ) & the inattentive drivers at stop lights.

For those that have travelled the road in the last few weeks, I'm heading to Pt Vic next week, should I risk Pt Wakefield Rd or go through Balaklava?

Still $1.45 here in the West. It is weird how Adelaide's inner west, around Grange Rd and Henley Beach Rd always has the cheapest places in town (not that I'm complaining as it's usually the 3 servos closest to me).
