I can only assume sites have been slow to return ( or aren't back until next week ) or are way behind because of the heat in the last week before Xmas ( all sites were shut by 11am that week, at the latest ).

Plenty of companies are closed through this period. Probably another week before it ramps up.
The year ahead doesn't look too bad for construction companies.
