It wasn't meant to be disparaging to the good folk of Long Plains, it was more emphasising not everyone wishes to live North of Bolivar.

A few weeks ago on Qantas we were delayed 3hrs, no food loaded for business class and only 2 bottles of wine loaded and served in paper cups. Get to Canberra and our luggage arrived 2 days later. Needless to say that was a good reminder of why most of my domestic flights are with Virgin AustraliaThe Ash Man wrote:Flight delays which mean I miss my connection and therefore miss my lads footy game tonight

I was in Perth a month ago, no food other than cheese and crackers in the Qantas Business lounge… then an hour delay for the flight. Flew out of Perth at 1.00am… That’s 4.00am by my body clock!!
