I’m after another set of golf clubs, bag, buggy etc.
Only after 2nd hand so what is the best places to look other than the normal marketplace and gumtree sites?

Have just upgraded most of the bag.. picked up a new brand new set of fitted Srixon ZX5 irons and a Taylormade spider putter in the last week. The irons feel amazing, so much more confident standing over a 4 iron. Just need to get a consistent swing

decided to regrip 3 clubs.
2 of the wedges, one is over 10years old, another is probably 7yrs old and a one length gap wedge that i havent had in the bag for a very long time.
the 2 wedges were in great need of being done, hopefully that may help them behave themselves

grabbed a MGI X4 electric buggy from Drummond for $899 on sale for $999 but i had a $100 prize voucher.
is it lazy golf or just smart to upgrade into one of these?

Wandered out to a local driving range with a mate yesterday. He’d gotten himself a new/second hand Driver. I had a few swings with it, and hit it reasonably well.

All my clubs are 25+ years old. Which means I was in my early 30’s when I got them. I also played a lot more golf back then. All my clubs have stiff shafts.

My mates driver is 10.5 degree which is to lofted for me, but had a regular shaft in it.

So I was able to get a real good feel for what the standard shaft provided to me, as opposed to the stiff shaft in mine. 25 years on plus another 20 odd KG’s I’m not as flexible and don’t generate the club head speed I once did.

Think it’s time to jump on the sim at Drummo’s and most likely change the shaft in my driver. It felt so much easier to get the club through the ball and back to square with the regular flex.

The other thing I found is that drivers and most clubs, the technology doesn't improve greatly from year to year.
10yrs is probably a good time to upgrade. I know when looking at drivers I spent hours reading and watching reviews etc
I'm contemplating taking my baffler and hybrid in to a drummond to see whether a different shaft would work.
