Driver was ok. Hit 2 good drives. On the 8th, 250 and again on 10.
Putting was good, lag putts perfectly weighted. Short putts not so good...

How effin hot was it out there?

I’m going back to Melbs… it’s Autumn there!

Was warm the last few holes.

Not looking forward to tomorrow. 11.26 start

I’m playing Hidden Valley tomorrow with a mate. 11.10am tee time. 35 degrees. Could get ugly out there.

Wouldn’t have thought so. Whites at best.

Late night
Early start.

Driver was ordinary. Hit 2 real good ones for the day.
3w was quite solid.
Short game wasn't as good as it had been
Putting was ordinary.
87 off stick...

Twilight
B9

First tee shot with Driver was a horrible slice. Should have atleast warmed up  got away with a bogey after chipping back through the trees.
The Driver then stayed in the bag. The 3w then replaced it off the tee. Duffed one on 15th, tail breeze and just tried to smash it...
On the 18th the 3w ended up where some of the best Drives go.....
May need to look to the Q10 Driver

42 off stick for 16pts.

Haven't played for 2 weeks and footy has been moved from Sat to Sun this week so the 18 booked for Flaggy on Sunday is scrapped :(

Hoping to get out for the twlight comp next Thursday to give my GA hcap its first workout.

Upon setting up the bag, I decided the Driver needed to stay in the car. Really needs to think about its erratic behaviour.

So it was 3w off tee all day.
First hole, pulled it slightly left into trees.
Had a gap, but 6i hit a tree and ball rolled back to me. Another go and into bunker. 2 to get out. Picked up. Couldn't be bothered with the 18fter for a point. Thought that's what the Golf Gods had in store for me

After that it was ok.
27putts for the day  few 1 putts.
4 birdies for the day.
Few bogeys and doubles.

39pts

Flaggy again this morning.
Cool change was pleasant
Although it did get very dark at one stage.

3w again off the tee. And again for most part was reliable.
Around the greens, normally bread n butter with chip n runs was poor for most part.
Putting was fair. 31 putts. Quite a few first putts were just halfway harry jobs

35pts. With a wipe.

Nice work, mate. Pls tell me you kept the ball & scorecard.

Ball. Tee. Scorecard. Glove.

The lady in the pro shop grabbed me to get some contact details, the club wants to organise something for me.

I'm about 15 beers deep and still can't believe it.

Hope the club didn't organise dinner at the Links?

Any news from them yet?

Saturday
Started off ok.
On the 2nd, on in 2
Good lag putt. Missed a sitter, just moved more than anticipated and mentally just lost the plot.. picked up and moved on.
After 9 dumped half the clubs in the car...
Played ok back 9.

Today was much better. 80 off stick for 37pts.
Could have broken 80. Greenside for 3 on 18th but short sided. Took the 7w to roll onto green but it just grabbed and then duly 3 putted
Still only 30putts for the day.

13 points tonight, terrible golf

Vines bore pump has crashed so they are only watering greens until a new one is installed, probably 4 weeks they reckon.
