Golfers of SA Footy.

I have an invitation for an Open Day at Kooyonga on Sunday September 15. Must have a handicap and prepared to part with $65 (Half Price Green fees if you need to justify it to the department of finances ;) )

Onsong is in and there are 2 spots left to form a group. Let me know Gentlemen and we can talk turkey to get a full group of 4 gracing the fairways of this magnificent course.

Official as far as I can tell. Entry Form does not state a limit on the handicap apart from the obvious maximums under the rules of Golf.....

I play off 18/19 and Onsong is high 20's I think

Coomealla is a ripper club to join if you don't want to pay exorbitant fees etc and don't have a "home" club per se.

Plenty of reciprocal rights and you get all the benefits of being on Golflink etc for $129

And a Golf Link number, yes. On the cheap too.
I pay about $400 annually for full membership at Balaklava, wouldn't find many metro clubs around the joint cheaper than that.

So if you're not playing every week etc, no point in paying full membership somewhere if you're not getting bang for your buck.

add about $1000 for Metro clubs and that only gets you West Lakes, Flaggy, Mt Osmond and the like

For Kooyonga its $2.5k per year plus $6k joining fee. On the plus side they let you pay the joining fee in installments over several years

Only 10 minutes from home

But yeah, pay each month rather than all at once... 10 minutes from home, nice course, and sub $600...

I can get in 12 holes after work during day light savings too.
Yes it's a hilly course but still nice =)
