Geez he gave it a fair crack to come back from 5 down with 7 or 8 to play. He looked dis-interested and then just turned it on for about 4-5 holes in a row.

Cracking last day tho.

I was impressed with Leishman (spelling). Don't know a lot about him but anyone who beats Speith at the minute deserves the win.

He made the play off for The Open earlier in the year, before that I hadn't heard much about him either!

After a decent crack at it for AC/DC Saturday night, I watched most of this coverage yesterday from the lounge.

If you want to talk about course management, watch his round from yesterday. Excellent work from tee to green all day.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Sometimes golfers just wish they stayed in bed.....

Brandt Snedeker at the PGA heads out in an amateur 45. It gets worse heading in as he slips even further back to be +10 through 11 holes

Watched the last round of that... Was actually quite exciting with about 5 blokes in contention up until the last hole or two.

What was surprising was some of the mistakes they top players were making... they were missing the mark by a long way on a few of their shots!

Thats why I love watching the masters each year. The skill of these golfers isnt on some resort course where they can take a 3 wood off the tea and then wedge into the green, it is when they really have to scramble, or massive shape their shots etc.

Do you predict Daly will have a long and successful "seniors" career??
By that is he still drinking, smoking, gambling and living in a RV?

Far from it.....I'm expecting loud outfits and big dummy spits......

What is even more amusing is the talk on twitter of a recent boys trip with Rickie Fowler, Jordan Speith, Justin Thomas and Smylie Kaufman. Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus want in for next years trip

A question for the fellow golf lovers.

Just watched The Chronicles of a Champion - tom Watson who is one of my fav players.

So watching that made me ponder this idea.
For a champion of a Major (any major) on their last entry into that tourney should they be exempt from the cut if they wish to play the weekend as a mark of respect

Could be a double edge sword tho. Finish a torny +20 odd and the winner is -10 not a fitting way to finish for champions of golf.

I do get what your saying tho could be a fairy tale amounts it.

Not so much that they may end up so far behind the winner but it's more about the fans / player saying farewell.
And if there was to be a fairytale that would be sensational for the game.
