see I can handle just rain, but I don't like the mixture of both wild winds and rain

It would be nice if the rain and wild winds just calmed down for a few hours Thursday - Friday

Hoping to get out tomorrow afternoon.

Got the afternoon off so I'm hopeful of getting at least 9 in somewhere if the rain holds off.

Lameroo today most greens in very poor condition which is surprise as it's normally quite a good course.

Ended up playing well after a horror start first tee shot out of bounds for a 7!

Really hope the forecast is incorrect for Friday. I want to enjoy the walk around Grange East.
Is that too much to ask?

Windy, 13 and showers.
24 knots from the South in the morning, easing to 12-16 knots SW in the afternoon.
75% chance 1-5mm

Not, what one would call, ideal.

I was trying that positive thinking thing :? . 12pm shotgun start aswell, so at least the wind should be down somewhat in the pm...I'll take that as a silver lining haha

First up following an Auskick enforced absence of 3 months.

Played Flagstaff Hill on Sunday (Back 9 first) and went out in a respectable 43. Came home with a battling 48 including 3 7s, putting and irons being the main culprits. Drove surprisingly well. Somehow lost a ball on the par 3 ninth- those who have played there will realise how bad you need to hit one to lose it there.

Did win our cash hole ($80) which softened the blow.

$$$ during golf always help soften the blow.

I am intrigued as to how you lose a ball on the 9th? Did you go right off the tee and close to the water?? and by going right I mean GOING RIGHT!
