Got the hurry up from the old Pres, not sure why, we had to wait for the group ahead to go.
I had a go back at him and then says he has said the same thing to the 5 groups ahead of us....Wtf

So now there's 3 of us looking for new clubs at the end of this season.

It's a regular occurrence this bullshit.

So a mate also plays on Sundays, and he asked the group about their thoughts.

His sunday group are all older 60+ gentlemen.

They hit a wayward drive into the trees and it hit someone.
They made sure he was ok etc....

Then they got the hurry up for being behind.......

yep, the slow groups normally start from about 7-20 by my reckoning.......we normally start at around 8ish, but I'm outta town for a few days.

the first 2 groups are absolute flyers....they play as if they need to be home by 9-30

Thaxted basically have 16 months for the price of 12.

season I believe starts September.

they have pumped heaps of cash into the course and are almost finished the front 9.

full membership is at $1620.

had a discussion with one of the playing group who also called in their today.

they look like the new home for our Slow Earth Moving Group....

we will be looking at having a hit there in the next couple of weeks to assess it
