The FnC next to the villas van for $18.50 is actually very good compared to $7 for villas pastries.

the Fan Village set up is very well done

simulators, a putting green, then theres an outfoor mini putt putt hole set up, a chipping set up, a footy, a cricket set ups as well.
plenty of variety for food and bev
there was more of a line up for the merch tent then there was to get in today, although i suspect many more people will arrive earlier sat and sunday. despite the long line for the merch it did move through pretty quickly.
the practice putting green was popular, some of these players do some weird shit
I found myself around the 18th for the day.
60% in the stand next to the corporate set up and then the remainder i was situated by the bunkers on the front right, in fact right next to Bubba and Cam.
the rush to the green after Cam chipped up was just ridiculous, i thought fans were gonna storm the green and even jump into the bunker

plenty of people were following groups around. but when there was about 7 holes to play the 18th slowly built up.
the roars from the 12th at times drowned out the music on the stand at the 18th

Brilliant Day, kept pinching myself that we are seeing these blokes in our home town. We started watching groups on the 4th, then moved down to the 7th green and 8th tee and hardly anyone was down there, a great spot to get away from the crowds. The Leish gave us a nice smile when we said we liked his beer on the 8th tee. Drifted over to the 12th and was pleased to see you could get a decent look at play there amongst the corporates. From there went to the 17th to watch the approaches, got to watch Louey and DJ from very close range which was awesome. It was all over pretty quickly.

Our group got our "good one dickhead!" hats on JustAdelaidethings (shit adelaide) instagram to finish the day off.

Only real issue was there weren't anywhere near enough bars, walked out after 6 hours and only 5 beers under the belt.

Went with my lad. Spent a bit of time in the fan village doing all the putting, simulator, bowling footy etc. Lad loved it.
When play started we were on 6 tee off, then moved to 5 and sat on the dogleg where the approach shot was. Got real close to the players. Watched Smiths group through there, then started walking through 4 and 9 I think back to the fan village. After this we ended up hanging around 17 green, 16 tee off and 15 green area. Was good for an hour then the crowds came. We were in the perfect spot on 16 tee off to see all the big guns teeing off up close.
After walking around a bit, think I'm gonna spend a large part of tomorrow on par 3 14. Can watch tee off 15, green on 16 and 18 tee off all within 60m of each other. When the crowds come, might try and find somewhere else on the front nine. Cracking day!

Boys golf trip.

12 hours of sinking piss… and a 7.30am tee time tomorrow.

What can possibly go wrong?
