Think I have about 15 or 16 cards in so hopefully now over the next month I can finally have my full 20 cards in. Handicap currently at 17.4 via golf link so hope it keeps heading in the right direction. Probably going to go up slightly after tomorrows card as I can't imagine it being a flagged round being away from the course for so long.
Brilliant weather for the walks though so will be no complaints

I was wrong. Flagged round. 86 off the stick for 38 points. Golf is a funny game some times.
Probably won't be able to hit it off the tee tomorrow in the scramble now.

Had another good day Saturday 87 off the stick for 37 points.
Ended up being my best round as far as score differentials go as they applied a PCC of +2 on the round which ive never seen before. I didnt hang around for presentations as I had a function on so I take it that everyone else must have had a pretty bad round for this to occur. Havnt found out if I won anything yet, but based on the PCC I would have to be a decent chance.
Ill find out next week, but I think (hoping) that my handicap has tipped a threshold and will now be in the A grade field which is a nice achievement I feel. I kinda hope that footy gets delayed (it wont) so I can keep playing golf.

It’s a sensational day weather wise and having a hit with a mate at Yarrambat.

The golf is woeful.

The beer is good.

$114 - not too bad, I thought it might be more TBH. Although my mate from Melbourne is coming down and for his 50th he shouted me a round at Royal Melbourne so I need to reciprocate I guess

Just hope that i actually remember how to play golf while I'm there.
Played Good Friday and scapped around for 36 points (22 on the back 9 helped) & then fronted up Saturday for stroke round and hacked away for 109 off the stick or 22 points

Shotgun start at 8.30 yesterday for Mayors day.
At around 8am it got dark and looked ominous.
The radar however helped ease some concerns.

So first up for 6 weeks or so.
Started in 18th.
Drive was OK, just faded a tad to the right rough and we started off with a par - 4. How easy is this.
The first few holes were OK, kept plodding along.
Then had a few shorter putts where you manoeuvre your body like an Afghan gymnast to not stand on lines etc and missed[emoji1][emoji1][emoji1] then the 1 handed 6footers would drop[emoji848][emoji848]

Finished up on par 5- 17th with par.
So started and finished with a par....only lost the 1 ball....

Course is in pretty good condition.
Greens were as fast as I've seen them, in preparation for the club champs starting next week.
