i went down to the pat about a month ago on a friday morning around 7ish, car park was full and the south course was all booked out
I think the Pat have comp on tuesdays as well on the south course, but ring up and double check
think they open around sunrise

Played Sandy Creek 2 weeks ago and that was in good nick too.
North Adelaide, South course (long course ?? I never remember...) was in great nick for a public course... Couldn't complain about the twilight fees of $15 after 2.30 either... Greens were so thick and slow though...Played Flagstaff late last year and never seen greens so fast !! In great nick and always fun to play..
I always enjoy Echunga too... nice and cheap and not a real long drive there..

Well-priced too for such a well maintained track, and it's a fun course with a couple of par 4's you can drive the green.
