Par
Weather was fantastic. Shorts got a run for 1st time in a while.
Didnt touch clubs all week.
Picked up my Box of Bridgestone RXS during week which i got for $25 on ebay!

So on the tee, pulled out the Driver most of the day and just trying to focus on getting the right shoulder through the ball. Best ive driven in a long time!
Putting, well, a weeks a long time in golf.
I was pretty well in the zone! Nailed some very very nice putts.
The back 9 for the 3rd round in a row, 2 Thax and south Lakes, ive just not scored. Hit a nice drive and shank the next....or some ****** up shit.
On the 15th hit a nice little 9i runner from the 94m the boys told me it was and it was tracking nicely. Gave the afternoon players something to get inside, and importantly made the birdie putt!

+2 overall.

Cool conditions greeted us this morning.
Clouds felt like they were going to have a shower or 2 which, thankfully never eventuated.

Quite a breezy day, i think it was worse than it actually felt when the ball got up into the slipstream.

Front 8 was ok, nothing outstanding, just battling along. On the 9th ended up just on the otherside of the path separating 1st/9th.
Tried a little slice around the tree.......******* hit the tree and came back.
Attempt 2.....same ******* thing.
Day goneski. Who planted those trees, the course should be Links.....
Finish a 7.

Then the back 9 was just a cruise through the motions.
Nothing horrible.
Highlight/lowlight/highlight was 18....again.
Nice drive with the $8 5w.
Then took it far too lazy with the baffler and knocked it into the hazard, if i hit it hard, it may have popped out, but no.
Down in the ditch, 9i and just hit the shit out of it....ended up among the trees near 17th tee.
Not much of a shot here. Just took the 5i and punched it in low.....shot of the ******* day....rolled up and onto the green and settled just nicely behind the hole. Easy putt from 4ft

91 but it didnt feel that bad....

Todays efforts.

The $8 5w was sensational.

Lots of roll out on the course which helps me out.

Took out a few of my clubs.
Left myself with
Baffler
5wood - used off the tee
6-7-8-9-60°
Might add in a 5i as my bunt out club from behind trees etc and exchange the 60 for my 56

31pts in idyllic conditions and the course played very very very easy which makes my hacking score quite annoying.
17 after 9.

No real issues on the front.

Going along ok until the 14th over the Dam, tee block set up over right hand side and some over hanging branches caught my well struck 5w which statted a fraction further right than anticipated and dropped straight down....ffs. reload, move more to left hand edge and got away with a nice drive
16th, hit a slight push....goneski in hazard....im not one that can be ****** spending 5mins looking for a ball.

14pts back 9, and again the back 9 got me again...

Back out to 12.1

Was looking forward to playing at TTG on Monday for one of their guest days, shotgun start at 12 noon, only to find out that it was cancelled...

Haven't played there since I let my membership lapse in 1993, 25 years later was looking to make a return... not happy at all...

I had even been given the OK from Mrs Jase to go... :(
