Foxtel have the Masters channel up and going. It’s not much I know, but I’ll take anything I can get right now. Tiger Tuesday on now 2001, he’s going head to head with Lefty and Duval.... remember him?!?

The late, great Kenny Venturi in commentary.

Nothing annoys me more than golfers who go to community cricket/ football ovals and take huge divots out of the oval. FFS, go to a driving range.

Great finish to the BMW. DJ made a bomb on18 to force a playoff with Rahm.

Both players reach the playoff hole green in regulation.... Rahm makes a ridiculous 60 foot down hill double breaking putt for birdie and the win. Insane.

Insane finish. Love it when sport throws up crazy finishes, there's nothing else like it.

Sport in General: I've always been distracted by wanting to try something exotic and new.*

Way back in 1957 Jim Mills, the pro at Kooyonga, was giving me free golf lessons as he thought I was a promising golfer. Somehow I never had the patience for the game and packed it in after a few months. I still have a cheap set of cheap clubs I bought to play a few social rounds with friends during the late 1970s, but I haven't used them since the early 1980s.

Looking back that has been my general approach to sport. I'd have a dabble then decide I could do that OK and try something new. The list includes Archery, Judo, Golf, Tennis, Softball then Baseball, Wrestling, Hockey, Goal keeper at Soccer, Fencing at Uni, middle distance running (2-miler) - then later Horse riding. (Of course I never stuck at anything long enough to become really good at it.)

I'm thinking of giving golf another go now.

* Looking back I realise that was my approach to women between marriages too...

Fat guts Reed at it again, claiming ball was plugged, picked it up before getting a ruling.

Sounds like he got pinged this time.

Fat Guts wins by 5 shots. I understand he didn't get pinged for his indiscretion yesterday.

Average bloke.

Nope he moved his ball before official got there and showed an indentation in the ground and claimed it was his ball plugged.

I'm fairly confident Reed is the only player on Tour who would have moved the ball before getting an official to check first.

Just loves making new fans.
