Great stuff from Day. But you have to think he is coming from too far back. Been impressed by Landry hits it straight off the tee, puts pretty good. He could be the one?!?

None of the leaders are kicking away and if he can get to -1 or -2 by the end play, he will only be 2 shots or so off the lead.

He's also capable of stringing good rounds together, unlike a Greg Norman type who could blow the course apart one day then implode the next. Anyhoo, long way to go still, just gotta close out this round in touch with the leader.

The end of the 3rd day of play, but not the 3rd round.

An early start for the leaders on Sunday, then wait around before starting their final rounds.

Leader Board

Lowry -4 (14)
Landry -3 (13)
Westwood - 2 (15)
Garcia - 2 (14)
D. Johnson - 2 (13)
Grace - 1
Piercy E (13)
Day +1

Branden Grace & Jason Day both produced -4 under rounds of 66. Day can still win it, but he needs everything, and I mean everything going his way from here on in.

I like Lowry from here, playing solid golf. Landry has impressed. DJ just busts it off the tee, but his wedge play has let him down. Westwood & Sergio in contention. Love to see Sergio do it.....but only if Day can't catch him.

Predict that Dustin Johnson will win it but if it can't be an Aussie, would like to see Lee Westwood win it as he is very consistent in the majors and deserves it imho

Dustin Johnson and Shane Lowry both at -5 heading to the back nine. Looks like it a shoot out now between those two. Westwood collapsed today with 7 over on the front.

For the theatre of it, would be good to see him win by 1. Lose that shot for the penalty and then have a 4way playoff....lol
