US Masters 2019

Apologies lads, I am a bit late getting the thread going this year!
It's Masters week, just about my favorite week of the year, tuned into a bit of the Masters Channel last night, caught the replay of Phil winning his second green jacket in 2006. 13 years ago..... where did those years go?
Anyway the traditional Par 3 comp is run Wednesday, the curse continues, no player has ever won the Par 3 Comp, and gone onto claim the Green Jacket.
Fat Guts Patrick Read is the defending Chumpion here.
Fun Fact: - This year's change is a surprising one as they've lengthened the already long par four fifth by 40 yards. It was the sixth hardest hole 12 months ago and historically it's been the fifth hardest. It won't be any easier now it measures 495 yards.
Key Stats:- Taken from the past 12 winners at Augusta, average ratings.
Driving Accuracy - 25.08
Driving Distance - 19.42
G.I.R - 7.08
Scrambling - 7.8
Putting Average - 9.58
The Contenders this years:
1. Rory McIlroy - $7.00
2. Dustin Johnson - $12.00
3. Justin Rose - $12.00
4. Tiger Woods - $13.00
5. John Rahm - $17.00
6. Rickie Fowler - $17.00
7. Justin Thomas - $19.00
8. Brooks Koepka - $23.00
9. Francesco Molinari - $23.00
10. Bryson DeChambeau - $26.00
Others
Paul Casey - $26.00, Bubba Watson - $29.00, Jason Day $29.00, Marc Leishmann - $34.00, Adam Scott - $36.00, Sergio Garcia - $46.00, Kevin Kisner $61.00.
Looking at the above odds, I think Justin Thomas is value, so too Brooks Koepka & Paul Casey. I'd love to see an Aussie salute, and I reckon Jason Day is in decent form. The smokey for me is Kevin Kisner - won the world match play and is at $61.00.
Looking forward to watching as much of the golf as I can this year, however I type this to you from the Qantas Lounge in Melbourne, as I am heading over the ditch for the remainder of the week. So the Thursday play (Friday am our time) I will be in Windy Wellington, and will only see a bit of it as I have meetings to get to. Home Friday evening so I should catch most of the weekend action. Masters Sunday (Monday our time) really is the best golf viewing all year. I will be late to work Monday!
