2021 US PGA

Sorry all, this major has snuck up on me, so no preview.

Kicks off tonight our time on Fox from 9.00pm.

Kiawah Island South Carolina. Links course, wind will be a major factor.

Morikawa goes around as defending champ. Rory won the last time the PGA was at this venue.

I’ve backed Cameron Smith at $34. Go the mullet!

Watched a bit of play this morning, before walking down the hallway to "work"....

Conditions looked pretty calm, and scores would reflect this.

Canadian Corey Conners (not Clarrie) leads after the first round

1. C. Connors -5

2 K. Bradley -3
2 V. Hovland -3
2 B. Kopeka -3
2 A. Wise -3
2. S. Horsfield -3
3. C. Davis -3

A host of players at -2, including Morikawa, Mickelson, Grace & Woodland.

My man Cam Smith was at -2 with 4 holes to play, but fell back to even Par, to be the best placed Aussie.

Love watching these guys struggle a little.
My only bet was for Higgo to be highest south African. Has won 2 on the euro Tour recently.
Entered a Callaway comp where you have to pick the winner and score, chose Paul Casey at -14 so be nice if he got up too!
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

The other Cameron, Davis, is the leading Aussie!!

And that included a triple bogey so pretty amazing effort in his second major.

Would love to see Lefty win

The coverage is horrible, have seen a lot of complaints on twitter, they only cover 2-3 groups, there are a heap of guys only 3 shots off the lead that you dont get to see at all

Watching it now with Mickelson/ koepka on the range. Chamblee commentating and is infuriating the Mrs with his passive aggressive contradiction [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]

Chamblee just says Koepka is the favourite and is behind by 1.
**** me, Chamblee hates Lefty.

Now he says Koepka has the same aura as Tiger

I hope he is correct. Couldn’t believe big Brooks was paying $5.00 last night on Sportsbet... I’m in for $20...

Can't say I have ever been the biggest fan of old mate lefty over the years. But credit where its due, he gutted it out on a bloody tough course, kept it in play, for the most part. Koepka will be disappointed in his final round, think he hits back next major. Oosthuizen, on his day the best player on the globe, apparently he is one of the few who does not believe it though. Should have won more over his career.
