Illawarra Hawks veteran Tim Coenraad has announced his retirement after 14 seasons with the Hawks. He initially retired in 2020 but came back as an injury replacement for Cam Bairstow and will play his 374th and final game against Tasmania at home on Saturday.

36ers CEO Nic Barbato says the club will conduct a full review in the off-season in light of this disappointing season with coach CJ Bruton a part of the review process.

“We can start thinking about what that will look like now and we’ll sit down and work through that with everyone at the end of the season — the coaching staff, players, structure — and see what we come out with,” Barbato said via Newscorp.

“CJ’s a great part of our club and we’re with him … we want him to be part of that whole process.”
