Melbourne at home will be alot harder to beat though so they can’t afford to have any passengers

Too late in the season to make a change I feel

And on the commentary, surely Gaze is SEM’s number one ticket holder.

It's because of the passion and engagement of Adelaide fans. That's why they're always prodding us for drama and to be fair there was a shitload of at the club last season but now that we've replaced KD with Cotton, not so much behind the scenes drama at the club anymore.

KD's response to missing out on the MVP award spoke volumes of his character and equally Cotton's response to KD's tantrum spoke volumes of his character too.

The Phoenix blew a golden chance to catch Adelaide after 2 1/2 weeks off and blow it out early. They let Cotton get off the hook when the rest of the Sixers were half asleep and instead of being out by 12-15 let Adelaide maintain the lead for the majority of the first half. As the game got older the Sixers spread the load and SE Melbourne used tickets and couldn’t go with them. Reckon that’ll bite them hard during this series and pressure does funny things. Adelaide going to Melbourne with the pressure off might release something and it’s going to be interesting to see how the Phoenix react.
