The Brisbane Bullets have completed their roster with the signing of import Alonzo Gee. The 6'6" swingman played 8 years in the NBA from 2009-2017 with a number of teams averaging a career high 10.6ppg with the Cavs in 2011/12 and 10.3ppg the following season too. He played last season in the G-League & in Puerto Rico during the off-season and also played for Team USA in the July FIBA WC qualifiers.

The NBL also today announced the location and schedule for the pre-season Blitz tournament which will see games played in Bendigo & Ballarat. All 12 games across the three days will be streamed live on NBL TV.

In a pre-season game tonight Melbourne United beat the Sydney Kings 93-85 in Bendigo. For United Alex Pledger scored 18 points and Mitch McCarron added 15 and for the Kings Jerome Randle scored 21 and Kevin Lisch had 18.
