Yeah I think so too ... I actually got on the Cav's before the season started so I'll be hoping they canget the job done, but honestly can't see it happening.

as much as Id love to see someone different win I really admire the way the Spurs play a true team game....unfortuantely I dont think the Cavs have a "true team game" and are the 4th maybe 5ht best team in the league

your right a little bit...but that last 2 games of that series just gone, wow, great TEAM and INDIVIDUAL bball. Yeah, probably the spurs will win but i think its going to be closer than ppl think the cavs have that little window of opportunity...i thought the pistons would do us but we turned them to a mumbling mess...duncan, manu and tony...gonna be tough but should be entertaining.

I think the Pistons are always a chance to turn into a bumbling mess, despite how great a team they are, and thats simply the "Wallace Factor" ... 9/10 times he carries on it seems to propel the team, but then that other time comes along and he destroys them.

Can't doubt the pedigree of Detroit though, so thats a massive notch on the Cavs belt ... Can't see the Spurs displaying the same lack of discipline.

Anyway, always gotta go for the underdog, so go Cavs!!!

Not sure if anybody knew, but the New Jersey Nets from 2009 onwoods will not be in New Jersey they will be moving to a brand new stadium which is being built in Brooklyn and becoming the Brooklyn Nets. it will be the first time Brooklyn has had a pro team since the dodgers moved to L.A. in 1957.

The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

So what's the informed opinoin of LeBron? 4 years ago the hype was "next Michael Jordan". He's about the age Jordan was drafted at now, and producing some incredible numbers. Is LJ going to be as good as MJ? Could he ever average a TD in a season? It looks unlikely he'll average more than 30 a game like Mike, but you never know what might happen in the future.

I think they will be called the Brooklyn Nets because at a street fair they had recently down here they had merchandise with 'Brooklyn Nets' on it. The stadium is being built about half a mile from my place and it is going to cause a logistical nightmare coz the place is already filled with low income housing and its going to added onto with the same shit. not sure if i will still be in the same place or even in NYC but its going to be a mess on game night.

Yep, same here ... He will be one of the greatest, but I don't think he'll match MJ either.

People have different reasons for remembering MJ so fondly, for me it wasn't just the numbers he racked up during the seasons, but the way he topped it off as such an expert "money man".

On final plays the opposition would know exactly where the ball was going yet were still powerless to stop him ... For anyone who doesn't recall, I'm sure Karl Malone and John Stockton could fill you in!

Can understant that but it's usually over things like the city not getting involved in building new stadiums, dwindling attendances etc. Know that the Kansas City Kings were struggling in attendance but since they moved to Sacramento in the '80's, their crowds have been very good - especially considering they struggled for years before the arrival of Webber, Williams and Doug Christie.
I think there were a few figures that are involved in the entertainment industry that are a part of the consortium that bought the Nets.

Reakon we should sit in judgement on LBJ's standing in the game at the end of his career, not his fourth season.

After four years in the league, Jordan had plenty of doubters too.

Even though he already had an MVP trophy in his cabinet.

Great to see Brooklyn with another pro sports team.

Chubb Rock (a rapper) predicted it back in 1995 when he said:

'...We take back Ebbets Field!'

Well, not quite.

But the Dodgers belong in Brooklyn.

If we waited until everything was over to talk and analyse things we'd have very little to talk about. LBJ may be playing for nearly 20 years, and I don't particularly want to wait that long before being able to talk about how he's going.
