Haven't checked this year but it is normally in the entertainment book. I agree if I go the most I ever fork out is the 2 for 1 price which makes it a reasonably cheap night out. Having said that we don't drink at 36ers games so a night at the BBall never blows out like a day on the village green.

How was Murray Magpies form last night. As mascots go I think he (she - girl inside I am told) does as good a job as any you see around. Really supportive, interactive and entertaining without ever crossing the fine line between funny mascot to please F@ck off weirdo.

no entertainment voucher this year for the 36ers but RAA members get a discount. I'm going again this Wednesday against Perth. Got tickets for $21.25 each about 9 rows behind 36ers bench

Only just finished watching the Gem broadcast and good win bit scrappy but the NBL seriously has to look at Brian Conklin. That elbow he threw into Creek's face left him with a cut chin and possible concussion and I don't think he returned either. The league has to stamp out dirty plays and start protecting the players.

How he escaped the first one is simply staggering if he escapes the second one then the NBL is a joke. He flays his elbows around and is well aware of the damage they will do. I won't wear the fact they were both accidents.

It's intentional. You can clearly see he was trying to elbow the guy behind him in the head. I doubt he was trying to injure Creek but it was the same with Martin he clearly brought his elbow down on a Perth player. There was another play in this game where he was stripped or something under the basket and he threw his arm out in the direction of a 36ers player who was there but had moved before he knew it.

Supposedly he dropped the f bomb on live TV during his half-time interview too.

The Townsville Crocodiles would like to advise that Brian Conklin has been charged as a result of a incident involving 36ers forward Mitch Creek during Saturday night’s game against the Adelaide 36ers.

The club is in the process of reviewing all footage and witness reports prior to the NBL Tribunal Hearing.

The club will advise the outcome as soon as it is to hand.

Brian and the club will not be making any further comments until the conclusion of the hearing.

The club will address the media at the conclusion of the hearing.

I was at the game and it all happened so fast. I don't for on second he meant to elbow him in the face. Pure accident but to not get a foul call and for him to get free throws was a joke

I hope he doesn't get suspended

Brian Conklin has been found guilty of striking Mitch Creek and given a three game suspension however two of the games have been suspended and will come into effect if he's found guilty for striking again this season. So he's been rubbed out for Townsville's game against Melbourne on Friday night.

Also Nathan Jawai has been found guilty of striking Tom Abercrombie in Perth's game in NZ against the Breakers last week and has been given a $1,000 fine.

At least Conklin got something I suppose.

I would hate to be doing hard rubbish collection at DJ's house. If it's anything like the junk he threw out there in the last quarter you would have one hell of a pile of shite. Not sure how it looked at the game on TV everyone of his jump shots or 3s looked no chance out of the hand.

Disappointing to lose a game I thought we had control of.

it looked shit at the game as well. How the hell did we blow that after an awesome 3rd and start of 4th? I'll tell you, our bloody big men taking stupid shots from distances they shouldn't be shooting from. Big turnovers in that last 2 mins didn't help.

Agreed, even last week when winning against Townsville they were talking stupid shots. Big me should play the paint.

Really noticeable how many 3 seconds in the key the refs are missing this season. Counted a Perth player in there for 12 seconds last night and a Crics player for 9 seconds. Stupid rule but if it's a rule enforce it

Crocs survive a late charge from United to win 82-78.

Didn't see that coming and when United got going always thought they would just steam past the Crocs without Conklin. Great effort by the Crocs

Huge effort for the Crocs to do it in Melb and without Conklin. My money would be on NZ on Sunday.
