A pre-season game overnight with Cairns again beating Wollongong at home this time 73-62. For the Taipans Cam Tragardh scored 13 and Torrey Craig 12 and for the Hawks Oscar Forman had 14 and Adam Ballinger 11.

In their second game the Perth Wildcats beat Melbourne United 72-71 in Margaret River. Jermaine Beal scored 18 and DeAndre Daniels 16 for the Wildcats and for United Jordan McRae scored 23 and David Barlow and Mark Worthington each scored 14.

The Perth Wildcat and Melbourne United wrapped up their three game pre-season series today in Perth (public holiday in WA) with the Wildcats winning 90-83. Top scorers for the Wildcats were Jesse Wagstaff with 20 and Tom Jervis with 17 and for United David Barlow had 18 and Nate Tomlinson & Lucas Walker each scored 16.

That's a very good signing for the Hawks they really need his size and good to see Nevill back in the NBL again after playing in Taiwan last season.

An NBL pre-season game tonight with the Sydney Kings beating the NZ Breakers 96-91 in Christchurch. For the Kings Tom Garlepp scored 25, Kendrick Perry 19 and Josh Duinker 18 and for the Breakers Corey Webster scored 21 and Mika Vukona & Tai Wesley each scored 14.

A pre-season game tonight with the NZ Breakers defeating the Sydney Kings 94-84 in Dunedin. For the Breakers Corey Webster scored 24 and Reuben Te Rangi 14 and for the Kings Jason Cadee and Kendrick Perry each scored 18.

It's hard to say really Joey Wright loved him at Gold Coast so he'll again get the opportunity but he does have a ceiling he's not 'star' potential or anything more shown he can be a very handy role player. Without Cadee & Carter I think he'll get more of a go but what that translates to who knows plus I'm not sure he should be starting over Creek anymore given Creek's performances in the pre-season games but in saying that Teys was in there for his defence.

Hi Alaska I only got about two takers from here last year in the SAFooty league

So I haven't bothered this year. If you PM 'CK' I know he has a league running and may have some spare spots. He used to do the SAFooty one.
