But there is a volatile situation in Cleveland, don't know how much longer King James is going to be there.....teammate issues and front office issues too.JK wrote:Brodlach wrote:Kyrie Irving and other bits off to Boston for Isaiah Thomas plus extras
"The deal will see Irving head to Boston in exchange for Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and Brooklyn’s 2018 first round pick."
As someone trying to get back up to speed with the NBA - Who likely benefits most from this deal? Seems like Boston giving up a fair bit?

It's not all about what Boston gave up, don't forget what they now have and will have the following season.
The C's now have Irving, I predict he will go to another level now he'll be "the man". They got Tatum at pick 3 (the Cavs desperately wanted him as part of this deal) and don't forget they acquired the much sort after Gordon Hayward. Boston also has the Lakers 1st round pick still next year.
Irving is 25 & won't be an unrestricted free agent until 2019 at the earliest.
Thomas is 28 & will become one next year.

odd move on his behalf, obviously no championship calibre teams wanted him as that was all he was looking for.
