A good win, Cairns were missing import Jamar Wilson and Alex Loughton.

Also the Tigers have officially announced that Daryl Corletto has left the team after being "de-activated" to allow the Tigers to sign Patty Mills, Corletto is now expected to sign with the NZ Breakers.

In a big signing for the Perth Wildcats they have announced they've now completed their roster with the signing of Luke Nevill.

As most would be aware he started last season with the Tigers until they decided to blow things up so around midseason he went and signed with a team in Russia to finish the season but was obvously keen to return to the NBL and had been trialling with his hometown Wildcats.

With Shawn Redhage due back around midseason too I think this makes the Wildcats the championship favourites.

I'd be surprised if he plays. Sounds like the negotiations on the NBA lockout are progressing reasonably well so far.

The talks have broken down again and now looks like there might be a coup against the player's union rep.

I think it's almost a lock we'll see Bogut play in the NBL for at least 3-5 games given it's only three weeks until the season starts. Most think it's a done deal he'll be signing with the Kings but supposedly the Blaze are making a real run at him. I read that the Kings play the 36ers in Adelaide twice really early in the season so could be a real possibility he plays a couple of games in Adelaide.

Great for Adelaide if he plays for the Sixers as the place will be packed but it probably also means two losses.
