Final

Wildcats 93
Breakers 72

A surprisingly bad start to the Breakers three-peat campaign especially at home.

Thought the 36ers were very impressive today in the blowout win over the Tigers. Weigh was good and the DJ/Big Luke combo is going to be very hard for other teams to combat.

36ers held the Tigers to just 20 points in the second half.

Good signs for sure.
Few more games and they will gel even better.
Great mix of players.

Amusing little tussle between gouldin and Petrie also. Ex team mates.

I wish the 36ers/Breakers game in NZ this Friday night was going to be the One HD game, almost makes me wish I had've signed up to NBL.TV

Sky Sport in NZ will be televising it there so might have to try and look for a feed.

I'd expect the Breakers to win so early in the season especially after the flogging at home by the Wildcats on the weekend but later in the season when the Sixers have had time to come together I think they could given them a real shake.
