Wow, decent get

Huge signing and the most credentialed NBA player to ever play in the NBL.

True but they are better than their current world #39 ranking though. In terms of the NBA Erik Murphy is with Cleveland, Hanno Mottola used to play for Atlanta and Petteri Koponen is a former 1st round pick of Portland's.

Forgot to mention Melbourne United announced they have signed Daniel Kickert a 6'10" F/C who despite being an aussie has never played in the NBL before and spent his whole pro career overseas most recently playing in Spain. The club also announced a multi-million dollar naming rights sponsor in CTI today too.

The good news continues to roll on for Melbourne United today announcing the signing of import Stephen Dennis who they signed last season but had to release after he went down with an Achilles injury in the pre-season which lead to the Ubaka/Farrakhan shamozzle.

There was another big signing today with the Perth Wildcats announcing they've secured 2014 NBA draft pick DeAndre Daniels a 6'9" forward who was drafted by the Toronto Raptors with the 37th pick in June after winning the NCAA championship at Connecticut.

The Wildcats obviously hoping they can repeat the success of 'loaning' another NBA draft pick like they did with James Ennis last season.
