Shorter's been fantastic the last 5-6 games really. I too had questions about him but he;s really showing his toughness now.

Even though he played for the bottom team last season you can't finish 2nd in scoring in the top Turkish league and not be able to play.

He had ice on his arm around his elbow after the game on Friday night, didn't notice anything else when I chatted to him.

Clarke hitting 3 of 22 (13%) is not just a good shooter out of form, its coaching at its worst.

They did not start him as he had hit something like 3 from 51 (3 point attempts) in his last four games (still scoring inside and was the leading scorer friday) yet still let him go today at 0 from 12 from the arc playing 28 minutes.

Thanks for coming Rotnei.

Fair points but I think Bevo probably realises they went on a year too long with this group and realistically were probably fortunate to get to the GF last season thanks in large part to Randle's performance in the SF's. They just don't have any reliable scorers outside of Conger & Clarke so need to ride Rotnei in the hope he comes good.

They've got 3-4 guys on that team that I think would struggle to make any other team's roster and think there might be a fair bit of a roster turnover next season.

For me, Clarke still scores really well inside the arc, so much so that he is still averaging 18,3 for the season.

3 from 63 says you got the yips and you need to be looking to dish after they double team you or take the shot inside when it presents. His intensity is second to none,

Your points about their roster are spot on. I think they will not play finals this year and will struggle to keep their better players.

I think Perths 54 points today is their lowest score. Just watching the replay now and they are way below their best.

Must laugh at the Foxtel comments men, "why don't Sydney just sign Randle NOW".

Agree about Clarke and Perth finished with 56 today which just averted their lowest score in club history.

The Kings have a team option on Randle's contract for next season. It will be interesting to see if he returns there or tries to get out of that especially in light of talk that Newley wants out. They both seemed to be enjoying each other's company on the bench late in the game today.

Newley wants out? He has also just become a father.

He should do the "right" thing and come home,
