Big announcement from the Perth Wildcats today with the signing of Boomer and former Hawks power forward Nick Kay to a 3 year deal.

Also the Cairns Taipans have re-signed evergreen big man Alex Loughton to a 1 year contract.

Official now the 36ers have signed 6'11" Aussie centre Harry Froling to a 2 year deal. Froling spent the last two years playing college ball in the US at South Methodist University and then Marquette University and before that had a short stint as a development player at the Townsville Crocs in 2015-16. He's currently playing for the Townsville Heat in the QBL.

Some big surprises with Andrew Bogut's signing with the Sydney Kings. It's a 2 year deal with no NBA or European out-clauses effectively retiring him from the NBA and there is a 10% ownership stake in the Kings waiting for him after he retires with potential to increase that to 50% ownership of the team!
