Obviously Randle's time in Turkey went well but I'm not sure he'll help the Kings that much. Something Randle overlooked was that the 36ers run & gun up tempo style suited him perfectly, that's not the way Gaze & the Kings play. They've also been used to Lisch being the primary ball handler these past one and a bit seasons and although Lisch will go back to his natural 2 spot that's likely to take some time. Not sure what kind of shape Tyler's going to be in and Leslie & Kendle appear to be the imports getting cut.

So far all that has happened officially is Travis Leslie has been released and Jeremy Tyler has been signed. Tyler is a 6'10" F/C who has been playing in China and previously played four seasons in the NBA with Golden State, Atlanta and New York.

Some big moves by the Kings but they had to do something to get off of the bottom of the ladder.

Either that or he was being stiffed on his money in Turkey and faced with minimal vacant well paying spots around had to 'settle' for what the Kings were offering. I've got no doubt he will be paid well but highly doubt it's anywhere near what he was demanding in the offseason.

Good battle in NZ 41-38 at H/T.

An interesting change this season is head-to-head not being a factor in playoff positioning anymore it'll come down purely to percentage, good thing for the Sixers already being down 0-3 to Melbourne.

Randle signed with Sydney for $400k down from his offseason demands of the 36ers rumoured to be in the $600k-$800k a year range.

The Perth Wildcats have announced the signing of local small forward Clint Steindl for the rest of the season replacing the retired Matt Knight on the roster. The 6'7" Steindl has previously played in the NBL with Cairns & Townsville, played last season in Belgium and started this season playing in Greece. He trained with the Wildcats in the pre-season awaiting his next contract due to his partner playing for the WNBL's Perth Lynx.
