Ramone Moore scored all 12 of the Sixers points in the 4th quarter.

Like Spargo said massive problems.

There are massive problems, spending the game near the 6ers bench last night I was amazed at the disharmony in the team.
Joey Wright absolutely went to town on Shorter once when he brought him off, half the building could hear his expletives, it was really demeaning and Shorter to his credit just walked to the far end of the bench and sat down. Sobey's body language and lack of respect to some of his team mates at times was disappointing as I'm a big fan of his. And Childress seemed very pissed off with Wright.
Not good signs.
Even though the 4th quarter was a shocker we seemed to take our pedal off from early in the 2nd.

PS Air con was better thank christ.

It does seem like the players are tuning Joey out but we just re-signed him to a 5 year contract so I can't see the coach going anywhere.

An interesting article about NBL expansion and AFL clubs interest in fielding teams in the NBL. I've heard rumours before about Richmond & Collingwood investigating the idea but nothing beyond that and now according to AFL/NBL commentator Dwayne Russell AFL clubs are again looking into it.

THE NBL has confirmed that some AFL clubs are keen on creating their own basketball team to be part of the league’s expansion, with two Melbourne-based AFL clubs reportedly the front-runners.

NBL owner Larry Kestelman wants to expand the league by up to four teams in the coming years. And the league is keen for some AFL clubs to add basketball departments so they can also run NBL teams in the coming years.

Fox Footy and Fox Sports NBL commentator Dwayne Russell reported on Sportsday radio on Monday night that two Melbourne-based AFL clubs were the front-runners to enter teams into the soon-to-be-expanded NBL.

Russell said Collingwood, which already has both a netball team and AFLW side, had shown interest in owning a basketball team as the NBL seeks a second Melbourne-based franchise to enter the competition.

Fremantle also looms as a viable option to be a second WA-based NBL team off the back of the Perth Wildcats’ success, which has seen them attract over 15,000 fans to most home games so far this season.

Not necessarily, one big difference with the past is Larry Kestelman is worth a couple of hundred million dollars so no team is going anywhere unless he says so and regardless this would be funded by AFL clubs and they have plenty of money, well the richer clubs do.

The NBL have announced that the Hawks Demitrius Conger has been charged by the game review panel with striking the Kings Brad Newley late in the overtime of their game on Thursday night. Conger has been given a two game suspension but if he takes an early guilty plea it will be reduced to a one game suspension.
