News has come to light that 36ers back up point guard Adam Doyle has a stress fracture in his foot and will be out for 8-10 weeks so quite possibly season ending.

Terrible news former Melbourne Tigers forward Blair Smith's body has been found in Boyne Valley, QLD believed to be suicide. He was 45. Smith won an NBL championship with the Tigers in 1997 and also played with Brisbane, West Sydney & Townsville during his career.

The Illawarra Hawks have signed local guard Indiana Faithfull as a temporary injury replacement for Mitch Norton who is out with a fractured thumb. Faithfull had a brief stint with the Sydney Kings during the 2015/16 season and most recently played in the NSW Waratah League.
