In other news the Cairns Taipans have released injured import Michael Carrera who was unlikely to make it back before the end of the season. Presumably they'll be sticking with his injury replacement import Jerry Evans Jr.

Injuries hitting the 36ers hard at the moment with Anthony Drmic's knee injury from Friday night now confirmed as a strained MCL and he'll be out for 3 weeks. Drmic joins Mitch Creek and Adam Doyle on the sidelines.

Bad news for Melbourne United with star import Casey Prather ruled out for the next 8 weeks after dislocating his elbow in Saturday night's win over the Hawks.

Melbourne United have announced the signing of import Carrick Felix a 6'6" SF as a temporary injury replacement for Casey Prather. Felix was waived by the Washington Wizards earlier this season without playing game and played in the G-League last season. He previously played in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavs in the 2013-14 season.
