Some horrible news for the Cairns Taipans with Nathan Jawai ruled out for the next 12 weeks after tearing a ligament in his foot in the second quarter of Friday night's season opener that requires surgery.

Not sure what to expect with this 36ers signing of Alan Wiggins. A 33 year old vet 6'9" PF he played in Japan last season and his father was a MLB player and his sister plays in the WNBA.
