Shorter is a workhorse and a great player. Completely shutting down Cairns.

Some unfortunate news today with veteran PF Matt Knight announcing his retirement effective immediately. Knight has had 13 concussions over his career and was kept out of the Wildcats game against the Kings due to another head knock at training. He won three championships with Perth and made the All-NBL First Team in 2013 and the All-NBL Second Teams in 2015 & 2016. All up Knight played 236 games with Perth and West Sydney averaging 11.9 ppg @ 49% and 7.0 rpg across his career.
