I don't think Lemanis is a fan of DJ, he's certainly not a fan of Ogilvy who he's refused to select even in extended squads ever since he's been coach. With DJ it's probably more he wants a traditional big man/centre like a Hodgson your basic back to the basket big man who could be used to overpower these smaller Asian nations plus be a deterrent inside defensively.

As good as DJ is in the NBL his game wouldn't translate that well internationally IMO where teams play more traditional half court basketball.

Thoughts on the most over rated player in the NBL?

I have two, Chris Goulding and Rotnei Clarke

AJO a close third

Ogilvy for sure. Highest paid player on the team and doesn't even start anymore. The talk was Bevo was going to get the arse as coach at the end of the season due to results this season and the majority team owner not being keen on him but that main owner has just sold his stake to one of the smaller owners so things might've changed. I don't know what's been up with Clarke this season but seemed to be playing more for himself than the team at times.

I can’t remember a more better display of officiating in Perth. Not intimidated by the home crowd or coach.
Wildcats aren’t a threat, their offence has all but dried up.

Shane heal the most over rated player ever. Brett maher every day of the week. Also scott fisher over james crawford. Pretty much right apart from that even though my favourite player Darnell Mee missed out.

Yep. Ansso far this quarter, Shorter has controlled the point and when they double he is finding the open player or driving inside. Up by 16 with 6.20 left.

Not calling it yet but we are close,
