Terrible news for NZ Breakers centre Rob Loe suffering a fractured skull in last night's game against the Hawks.

On a brighter note the the game last night was the most watched game in NBL history with almost 2 million viewers watching live on the Facebook stream. The game was also the Breakers biggest home crowd since 2013 with 8,338 in attendance.

Bad news for the struggling Illawarra Hawks with star import Aaron Brooks tearing his left achilles tendon in yesterday's game against Perth ruling him out for the rest of the season. The former NBA veteran averaged 17.9 ppg in his seven games with the Hawks.

Also the NZ Breakers have signed Sudanese-Australian Deng Deng as an injury replacement for centre Rob Loe. The 6'8" Deng played for the Sydney Kings last season and finished last season playing in Poland.
