Although a bit undersized at 6'8" he's very athletic and his father was former star NBL import Tiny Pinder. A good signing for the backup centre spot on a 1 year deal and has spent the past couple of years playing in Poland.

In other signings Melbourne United have re-signed star guard Chris Goulding to a 3 year deal.

In a coup the Sydney Kings have announced the signing of potential Aussie gun Dejan Vasiljevic to a 3 year deal. The 6'3" SG returns home after playing his college ball at the University of Miami.

Also as previously mentioned former 36er Harry Froling has signed with the Brisbane Bullets to a 2 year deal. He had a brief stint playing in Poland at the end of last season before the coronavirus shutdown.

Brian Goorjian already having a whinge about other teams cutting deals with Hawks players prior to the official beginning of free agency as due to the voluntary administration all of their contracts became null and void.

Incoming Hawks coach Brian Goorjian has taken aim at clubs he says breached a guarantee to not recruit former Hawks players until July 15.

The NBL free agency period is a time when players not contracted to a club are allowed to be contacted and signed by teams.

The period was pushed back this year, partly to allow the Hawks more time to appoint coaching staff after new owners took over.

But Goorjian said Boomers representative and Hawks player Angus Glover was already lost to the Sydney Kings before free agency started, and that guard Sunday Dech was set to go elsewhere too.

Sunday Dech is expected to sign with the 36ers.
