Bryce Cotton is back re-signing with the Perth Wildcats for the 2020-21 season.

Star guard Bryce Cotton will return to the Perth Wildcats for the 2020-21 NBL season, sources confirmed to ESPN.

The reigning MVP and Grand Final MVP had multiple offers on the table after opting out of his contract in the beginning of May -- including two other "serious offers" he was considering this past week, sources said -- but made the decision to re-join the franchise he's led since 2017.

Also today Andrew Bogut announced he won't be re-signing with the Sydney Kings nor signing with another NBL team although stopped short of announcing his retirement.

Andrew Bogut has announced he has decided not to re-sign with the Sydney Kings or any of his NBL rivals.

The 35-year-old released a lengthy statement on Monday to reveal he won't be signing any contracts any time soon as a result of the deep uncertainty across the global basketball industry in recent months.

Big signing for the 36ers Isaac Humphries the former Atlanta Hawks & Sydney Kings centre has signed a 2 year deal with the Sixers. Humphries won the NBL Rookie of the Year award with the Kings in 2017-18 and has spent the past two seasons playing in the G-League including his brief stint with Atlanta.

I can't remember the last time we had a genuine low-post presence maybe Paul Rees. Obviously DJ will be moving to the PF spot. Very interesting.

Also from the same article departed Bullet Cameron Gliddon has agree to sign with SE Melbourne to a 2 year contract.

It's great news as much as I dislike him it's good for the NBL to have it's most successful coach in history back in the league. The six-time NBL championship winning coach & six-time NBL Coach of the Year has signed a 2 year contract with the Hawks and has spent the past 11 years coaching in China.

Also the South-East Melbourne Phoenix have re-signed shooting guard Kendall Stephens to a 1 year deal with an option for a second year and the Phoenix have also declined to pick up the options of Ben Madgen & Dan Trist making them both free-agents.

SA born NBL veteran Ben Madgen has announced his retirement. The former 36ers development player started his pro career with the Sydney Kings after returning from college where he played five years before heading to Europe in 2015 playing in Belgium, Lithuania & Germany over a four year period before returning to the NBL last season with SE Melbourne Phoenix.

https://nbl.com.au/news/ben-madgen-announces-retirement

Madgen led the NBL in scoring in 2012-13, won the Most Improved Player award that season too and was also named to both the All-NBL First Team and the Sydney Kings 25th Anniversary Team that year too.

Just a shame we never got to see him come back home and play for the 36ers.

I think he might be too it's a very intriguing signing. Supposedly he's coming here on big money and after only getting sporadic opportunities in the G-League he should be motivated to impress. It will be interesting to see how Conner Henry uses he and DJ together.

Also today the Hawks announced the signing of Deng Deng to a 1 year contract. Last season Deng had a brief stint with the NZ Breakers as an injury replacement player but didn't play a game but previously played in the NBL with the Sydney Kings in 2018-19. He's also played in Poland, Lebanon, Finland, Qatar and the G-League.
