Super XV 2014

Super XV 2014

Bloody Great to have Super XV back..not really counting last week (SA starting a week early..why??)

Awesome win by the Chiefs last night beating the Crusaders away 18-10 with numerous players injured during the game, and even better to kick the final conversion on the final siren to deny to Crusaders a bonus point.

Only half hour til the Canes play their first game..cant wait

Just watching the Tahs first game at the Hampstead. 22-11 up and Izzy with his first double ever. Go Tahs!

Sure you'd have the same thought Mal, but bloody hell it's all just started and the a bye, with the Chiefs, Highlanders and Tahs all cooling their jets this weekend..especially without any Aussie Rules and cricket this weekend...what to do??

Result doesn't count as I only got to watch from when we were down 25-9 and we were much the better side. Wish we'd go for the 3 more often when getting penalties! Grrrrr
Well done Jim!

Easy to be the better side when you have an extra man advantage for 20 minutes, do agree that NSW should have taken those couple of 3 pointers on offer. I think unfortunately for both of us we are not quite up to it this year, hope im wrong but for us it seems like a regular theme to dominate the first half and then sit back in the second half, the good sides will run over us. The Tahs looked good when they got their running game going but were woeful in the first half

The extra man makes a huge differance in Rugby and its why the Refs usually only issue a card after constant infringements and dont just issue them willy nilly.
Very hard and tiring work to prevent a try when sides are constantly attacking your line. Thought we did well to hold out for so long

Super XV 2014

Postby Jim05 » Fri Apr 04, 2014 9:03 pm

After last weeks debacle it was great to get back on the winners list. To not only beat a very good Blues side but to hold them try less for the first time in our history was an awesome team effort

Did Benji Marshall get any game time for the Blues? He's been awful.

Yeah, got a little bit.
Made a couple of breaks without ever threatening. Thinks he is finding the physicality a bit more than he expected
