English Super League is like watching a suburban comp in Sydney. B grade at best. The way the Poms whack on about you would think its the best comp in the world

What a mess we've been since Anderson was sacked as coach. A mate of mine, also an eels fan and I lament the way the club has been run and we thought this year would be similar after Ricky decided the grass was greener elsewhere. And who could blame him. I mean who in their right mind signs a coach to a contract with an option of getting out after 1 year? Nutbags, that's who! Anyway I'm just enjoying it for what its worth. Its been a long time since we had a 3 in the win column without a 17, 18 or 19 accompanying it in the loss column.

Might be time for me to bring out the 60's or 70's 45 of the eels theme song! Its shockingly bad. Hence they dumped it.

Still better to watch than NRL. Attacking game with the traditional elements, not just 13 forwards bashing into each other for 5 turns.

Will agree to disagree with you there, struggle to watch B grade rugby.
To me its like comparing the NBA to the NBL
Not one of those sides would make the top 10 in the NRL and they wonder why their National team is a laughing stock.
Love the NRL, of course there are poor games but love the physicality and skill of the Aussie version

Reminds me of watching the SANFL compared to the AFL before Geelong revolutionized the AFL. Yes a higher level but awful to watch for the purists. English Rugby League has crowd involvement, backs and forwards and is great to watch for purists.
Thank god for Union in this country as the NRL is purely aimed at ferals who like seeing 13 forward bash each other for 5 turns in a row (very easy to understand and pointless), probably get a similar audience to the WWE.

Disappointing loss to the scum especially after being screwed over by cheating c**s of refs again. Third time this season we have been shafted, the refs boss came out and apologised for the two earlier in the season, wonder if they will do the sane this week. Good crowd of over 50k, loss has put us back in the pack though. Hopefully the rumours of Benji signing come into fruition

Wegs, we've know each other for way too long. You're either fishing for a response, or clearly delusional.

Exactly, the whole obstruction rule is a joke.
Gower was on the inside of Brooks' left shoulder which is meant to be play on. Brooks' took a dive and the video refs fell for it. As I said its not the first time we have been screwed this year either

Probably delusional but I've loved English Rugby League since the mid 90s and my Rhinos top is one of my most prized possessions. ;)
Love watching English Rugby League.
You know I'm a bit different Gadj. ;)

Yeh, good win again. Normally if we're in a high scoring game, it's in the "Against" column. So good to see a decent score. I still can't quite believe we're competitive this season, let alone scoring 42 points in one game.

Real good win, thought we were just starting to drop off the last few weeks.
Dragons next week and a chance to get back in the 8
