Bump 2017.

It's been a very fast paced first half, probably what you'd expect from the first game of the series. Queensland's first try was awesome but that late try from NSW would of hurt as they were just starting to gain some momentum. NSW now well on top at the break.

Both teams were out on their feet by half time, the Blues on top as you said TDK and probably should've scored another with the opportunities they've had close to the Maroons line.

Blues in again, their game to lose now. I'll take this over anything the AFL can spew out these days.

Fifita is killing it! Worrying signs when Mitchell Pearce went off but NSW absolutely dominating this second half.

Excellent quality game, with so few mistakes and penalties.
NSW were fitter and more skilful after half time well coached, selected and well executed.

Watching a man mountain like that in the forward pack reminds me of the dominant Blues pack in the 90's with Siro, Roberts, Lazarus and co.

6 all. Both teams throwing the ball wide a bit more this game. Weird kick to touch by Qld there, it was a signal in game 1 that they were running out of puff.

And now Mitchell Pearce scores the Blues third! That was a brilliant try. Maloney converts, NSW 16-6.

NSW forwards making more ground up the park than the Qld forwards. Looks like JT has pinged his shoulder.

Trbojevic has been absolutely huge for the Blues. How good was that tackle at the end there by Dugan?
