Rugby Union World Cup

Rugby Union World Cup

Postby whufc » Sat Sep 21, 2019 1:46 pm

Not a bad first game last night with Russia putting up more of a fight than expected.

Super Saturday today.

Australia vs Fiji should be a entertaining match. I like the Australian squad and our best performances in recent times have been very good, there also has been some junk in between.

France vs Argentina this should be an epic battle between two very evenly matched sides. This is the one im most looking forward to.

NZ vs South Africa this will be the most physical of the three games between two powerhouses. If the results stays close this will be amazing viewing.

The minor nations have done really well in recent years and its pretty rare we see the old 100+ scorelines.

Its great for rugby.

That Japan win was amazing, and Ireland were the no 1 team entering the World Cup!
I'm glad this comp goes for a ridiculously long time, will start taking an interest in it when the NRL and Bathurst is finished, and still have plenty of time to get into it!

Unlike most sports these days these gladiators are still allowed to smash each other, can’t have teams backing up after 4-5 days rest to speed the tournament up.

No other way to do it really
